The day advance time is the time when printing shifts to the next row on a time card for the next day.  This function is used for shifts that traverse midnight, and enables the clocking out record to print on the same line of the previous working day.

The day advance time can be overridden by the maximum in value, if programmed.  See How to set the maximum in value on the Seiko QR-375 for more information.

If you don't have shifts that traverse midnight, you can safely program this value as midnight (0:00).

If you need to alter the day advance time on your Seiko QR-375 time clock, follow the procedure below.

If you are already in program mode and are continuing from a previous function option, you can jump ahead to step 3.

If you have progressed past the last function option and the Seiko QR-375 has exited program mode, you will need to start again from step 2.

  1. If you haven't already done so, with power applied to the Seiko QR-375, unlock and remove the top cover.  This will enter program mode.
