Error E-35 displayed on the Seiko Z120

If your Seiko Z120 displays error E-35, it means a time card has remained stuck in the time clock.

To correct the problem:

  1. With the power disconnected, unlock and remove the cover.  Carefully remove the time card that has remained in the unit.
  2. Replace and relock the cover.  Reconnect the power and insert another time card to test the operation.

If the problem persists, the Z120 must be repaired or replaced.
