How to set the monthly pay period on the Seiko Z120

To end the pay period on the last day of each month, program the end date to 31.

In this example we will be programming the pay period to monthly, ending on the 20th of each month.

If you need to set or alter the pay period to monthly on your Seiko Z120 time clock, follow the procedure below.

If you are already in program mode and are continuing from a previous function option, you can jump ahead to step 5.

With the power applied to the Seiko Z120, unlock and remove the cover.

Press the SETTING button once. This will enter program mode.

Once in program mode, the display will show " ".

Seiko Z120 Time Clock (change monthly pay period - step 3)

Press and hold the FUNCTION button for 1-2 seconds. This will enter the first function option.

If the display shows "9999" when entering function program mode, you are required to enter the four digit password to proceed.

Press the FUNCTION button as required to position the "" mark under the PAY PERIOD option.

Initially, the pay period type value will be flashing. If necessary, press the or buttons to alter the pay period type value to read 1 for monthly.

Press the SET button to proceed to the end date.

The end date value will now be flashing. If necessary, press the or buttons to alter the end date to read 20 for the 20th of the month..

Press the SET button to complete the procedure.
