Error E-12 displayed on the Seiko Z120

If your Seiko Z120 displays error E-12, it means the clock generator of the CPU has developed a fault and is not operating correctly.

To correct the problem:

  1. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the power to the Seiko Z120.
  2. Try performing a soft reset of the Seiko Z120.

If neither of the above steps clear error E-12, you may need to reset the Seiko Z120 to factory default and reprogramme.

If the problem persists, the Z120 must be repaired or replaced.
